As Singapore moves into Phase 3 of re-opening and restrictions are eased, safe management practices will stay in place to ensure that flexible workspaces are COVID-safe.
Split-team arrangements and a combination of home and office work are the ‘new normal’ and enhanced health and safety standards will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
The demand for coworking spaces will continue to rise as businesses look to provide their employees with safe and flexible workspace solutions.
So – What are flexible workspaces doing to stay COVID-Safe?
Workbuddy has partnered with over 35 of the top coworking spaces in Singapore to give members workplace flexibility. Our members are our top priority and we have worked closely with each of our coworking partners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our coworking community.
All of the coworking spaces are following government workplace safety guidelines and have implemented the following stringent safety measures.
Flexible workspaces have reconfigured their common areas to ensure workers are spaced 1m apart and groups kept to a maximum of 8. Hot desking zones, lounges and meeting rooms have strict occupancy limits and desks and seating areas have been spaced out. All coworking spaces have clear signage with markings on tables and chairs to help enforce safe distancing measures.
All of our partner coworking spaces have implemented heightened cleaning measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of members. Common areas are being disinfected more frequently and the sanitisation of high touchpoint surfaces such as door handles, lift buttons, printing stations and reception areas has been increased.
All flexible workspaces provide complimentary hand sanitisers and require visitors to wear a mask. Health and safety guidelines are clearly displayed throughout hot desking and common areas as friendly reminders that the wellbeing of our coworking community depends on us all to do our part.
All coworking spaces require visitors to have their temperature checked and complete mandatory SafeEntry check-in using the TraceTogether app or token.
Each of these safety measures has been implemented to ensure the health and wellbeing of our coworking community and keep flexible workspaces COVID-safe.
