Spotlight on Crane

Post on April 21, 2022

Two fabulous new co-working spaces have been added to the workbuddy network — Crane @ Joo Chiat and Crane @ Arab Street.

All Crane co-working spaces offer a unique ‘boho-chic’ vibe with gorgeous interiors, great facilities and fantastic locations. We sat down with the friendly team at Crane to find out more…

What three words best describe Crane?

Inclusive. Accessible. Community.

What makes Crane unique?

Crane is a social space with co-working facilities, and we pride ourselves on the huge and unique variety of daily workshops and activities we run, from yoga & wine nights to sustainability fairs.

Crane also has a strong focus on mature professionals. We prefer members with life experience. Most of our activities are run by our members, creating a strong and self-sustaining community.

Our three co-working spaces in Robertson Quay, Joo Chiat and Arab Street each offer their own unique vibe.

Can you recommend any cafés or eateries nearby?

All of our Crane spaces are located in vibrant areas and surrounded by cafés, bars and restaurants. Make sure you check out Kohi Coffee Bar — a fabulous hole-in-the-wall café serving delicious coffee underneath our new workspace at Crane Joo Chiat.

What events do you hold to help members network?

Our ‘networking’ opportunities are quite different from the usual sit-and-drink sessions. Members meet and network at movie nights, tastings for wine & whisky, therapy groups, cooking classes, and more. As Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease we will be adding more workshops and events to our calendar.

What can workbuddy members look forward to when they visit Crane?

workbuddy members will enjoy working from beautiful, relaxed spaces in fantastic locations within a friendly community. WiFi and black & white printing is also free of charge.

All three of Crane’s co-working spaces are available to book on the workbuddy app. Flexible membership plans start from $129 per month. Contact us to find out more.
